So, there has been much speculation from a lot of people on these forums in regards to the Halo 5 music scores. Speculations on Marty coming back to Halo (Joseph Staten has yay!) and Jannouchi being lead composer. There has been speculations of the Chief having his set of music (mostly from previous Halo’s being 1,2,3,4, possibly remixed as well) and Locke missions having his own set (newer). If this is the case, what old scores would you like to see in Halo 5?
For me, I would want every character to have their own theme. For example, in a mission with Locke, I would like to see some ODST scores when Buck (if he is actually part of Locke’s team) is the centre of attention. For MC, I would like to see some music from CE, 2,3,4. Id also like to see some arbiter themed Halo 2 music. We also need some creepy flood music if the flood is in the game.
Here are some returning scores I would like to hear:
- One I miss very much- Covenant Dance (Halo CE)- this was only used once and I miss it from Halo CE
- Farthest Outpost (Halo 3)
- 117 (Halo 4)
- Walk in the woods/walking away (Halo CE)
- Impend (Halo 2)
- I know High Charity is destroyed but man did I love the High Charity suite from Halo 2
- Traffic Jam (ODST)
- Special Delivery (ODST)
- Behold a Pale Horse (Halo 3)
- Last but not least the Mjolnir Mix
List goes on and on, which halo scores would you like to hear in Halo 5. I really think having some original music will bring back that awesome halo nostalgic feeling and will make the game that much better. Whether you like remixed, original, or referenced. Discuss! 
I like the idea of associating different music with different characters. It would give a different mood to each character’s missions. As for individual tracks, Peril from Halo 2!
I think Halo 4 has a good soundtrack, and so far, so does Halo 5, but man, nothing beats the old Halo 2 and 3 soundtracks. I’d love to hear either some of the full songs return but with changes (if not the original song fully as it was in the old game), just enough for you to recognize the song but also recognize it as a new take on the song, or hints of the old soundtracks spread throughout Halo 5’s OST

What a beautiful song! I love this one too. I had to cut my list because I had too many songs on it hahaha. It does remind me of the arbiter though so I would like to see this song with the arbiter.
I agree that the characters should have individual songs play for them. That would be a nice addition and would help the campaign with mood a lot.
