We all know what we want,at least the ones that know what Halo is about,and i feel that 343i has understood!The day Halo 5: G. was announced there was that guy from 343i(could not find link or something…) who stated that the MP of Halo 5: G. will blow us away or something like that!And i am 90% sure that they are not dumb enough to say things like that and at last being false right?I mean if you say that,and you also know that almost none prefered the MP of the previous Title(Halo 4),you F***ing do not talk trash right?They seem to know this time,i hope…About the New Guy on the Concept Art i really prefer the story about ONI sending him on chief and stuff.
The Multiplayer i think has to be Classic like old good times,but with new additions NOT game changing and really all the stuff that made a Halo game HALO!

I also heard something similar to this. Some guy told me that Halo 5’s Multiplayer will be focused on Competitive play.
But I don’t believe anything until I see it.

I did not read about this new guy talking about multiplayer. can someone provide a link?
and yes, I won’t believe it either until I have seen it for myself.

So was Halo fours, they said. Until they say, they have been focusing on Classic play, I am not convinced.
Don’t get your hopes up. It has all been done and said before. It’s hype, and we shall firstly judge with our eyes.

While I really get excited with this, I won’t believe it until I see actual gameplay demo though…

Have hope, but remember to have low expectations. Else you are probably just setting yourself up for disappointment.

Anyway, it’s promising talk, but for now it’s just talk. We’ll see in a couple months if they can back themselves up with action.

We were also told that Halo 4 was going to return the series to its roots and blow us away too…
…and look how well that turned out.
I’m going to stay cautiously optimistic here and hope that 343i learned their lesson, but I’m not going to believe it until I see it.

That implies it’s something we’re not expecting. We’d be expecting a return to classic gameplay, so more likely, he’s talking about some kind of ground-breaking change.

It doesn’t give hope if you ask me. Is it really a big surprise that the developer is saying what they are doing will blow us away? They need us to be excited for what their making and on top of it, the developer is creating something that they really like and feel passionate about. Whether that transfers over to the fans or not, we will see in time.

That is very naive if you ask me. There is no proof or reason to ave 100% faith in them at this point. Blind faith can sometimes be just as bad as blind hatred. Before throwing your faith at 343i, give them a chance to prove to you they can live up to your expectations. If they can’t, you’re setting yourself up for a disappointment.

I too am remaining cautiously optimistic. I want to be freaking out about this information, but I’ve been there and done that with Halo 4 and I know how to go about this the second time around. I too will believe it when I see it.
My faith is not blind TU H4 is good and TU Reach made Reach play-able MM wise. Plus they have Bravo this time around.

You should still always prepare for the flop. There’s no telling what 343 will do. You may end up not liking it.

While this is very true, I rather be excited about it now and be 100% confident instead of not being said things and being pessimistic because what if I hate it? I then never got to be happy about said topic where as if I am hopeful/excited as I am now,I atleast got to be happy even if it is short-lived.
I believe that there needs to be a return to more classic mp rules and experiences.
In Halo 2 and 3 multiplayer was engaging and fun. I played all of the time. Part of the reason that mp has declined I think is the lack of players getting mic’ed up. It is very rare that you get into a match with people who want to roll through matches as a team.
Another thing I would like to see is more multiplayer maps with their own look and feel. With Reach and Halo 4 mp maps had the same bland washed out palettes. Make the maps feels different and look different.
I still enjoy playing but it doesn’t draw me in like previous titles did. I am looking forward to the future of Halo on Xbox One. Can’t wait for E3 to hear more.
