I just want to say, PLEASE do not put the Halo 4 ranking system in Halo 5. That was the biggest problem with the game for me, it wasn’t rewarding enough and was REALLY boring. Not to mention it was super “casual”. You got the same xp as everyone else no matter how good you do, you could go 30-0 and you get the same xp as someone that went 2-15. The ranked/arena system was awful too, bring back the old Halo 3 ranked system at least if anything.
In short: Halo 4’s multiplayer was super casual and had a terrible rank system.
Please don’t mess this up again 343, cause if you bring this back I’m not even going to touch multiplayer.

It would be interesting to go back to this ranking system. It would show as to who has skills in the game and shows how much time they played to get where they are at.
Personally, I’d prefer a hybrid, or split ranking. Please both worlds. Have your skill-based ranking, but also have a progression-based ranking. Both have their pros and cons, so why not incorporate both?
I have made posts about this previously, so I won’t go very far in depth. But a hybrid rank system has been what I wanted to see for quite some time, and in my opinion, would work marvelously in the game as a whole.
