Halo 5 Guardians is Big

From this title you can probably assume that I liked the Halo 5 beta and that I am eager to get the game, but I’m not here to tell you that I want Halo 5, I’m here to tell you why I’m excited for it, to kind of get it off my chest and stop arguing with people about why this isn’t just 343i making a mediocre game to cash in. Though I am stating opinions so don’t accuse me of being anything.

Microsoft has literally stated that this game is there biggest release this year. That alone is what made me preorder the game. Think about that; Windows 10, Lumia Phones, and Halo 5 Guardians is there biggest launch. Watch this - YouTube.

The story is completely 343’s creation. Now you might not like Halo 4’s campaign but in all honesty it’s not entirely there fault. Halo 3 had ended where alot people say the series should have ended but halo 3 wasn’t technically finished. Alot like Halo 2, Halo 3 was supposed to have Master Chief and Cortana go to Requiem at the last half of the game but was cut to meet time restraints, which explains why Halo 4 was so short in comparison and lackluster in it’s entirety. But now that 343 is no longer shackled by having to finish a unreleased plot concept they can now make the game they have wanted to create giving them the freedom to tell the story they want to tell.

And finally Halo 5 (in my opinion) plays great. To me that beta confirmed to me that 343i knows how to make a halo game. Taking the best things from the series and putting them into one great looking game. Map control, power weapons, MLG style call outs, and precision gameplay, and it’s refreshing to play. It feels like Halo and I loved playing it in the beta. I love what they did with Spartan abilities. Instead of putting random abilities in spawn load outs they gave everyone the same abilities that when used with alot of skill can give you an edge against you opponents. The way the abilities are both difficult to master and can be a powerful utility are a perfect mix. Giving pro players more to work with and casuals more to play with.

And I just wanted to say, if you are excited for Halo 5 Guardians please feel free to say so and why below.

I really enjoyed the beta and I am excited for the campaign, but I don’t want to hype it too much.

I fear i’ll expect more than it actually is and end up dissapointing myself.

Good consumer! Just listen and believe

Ya I’m hoping for an amazing campaign. If you knew the back story for Halo 4, then most people who read the extra content understood and seemed to favor it the most, on a lore/story perspective. But it did feel short for sure.

I have no doubts with 343 telling a good story for Halo 5. Just wondering what else for multiplayer they are launching. Guess E3 will show.

Yeah kind of feel that way too man, just got to hope that the final build is at least as fun as the beta or more.
