First i want to thank 343 for making such a beautiful game, Halo 5 Guardians is going to be the best Halo ever made. And i cant wait to see how much polish 343 has done to Halo 5 Guardians Arena Multiplayer since the beta i cant for e3 2015.

A console exclusive game that is a sequel will almost never be GotY. While Halo 5 is the game I am looking forward to the most, don’t try to set your expectations too high.

I +1’d, but medals are crappy ways to tell what someone’s done.
For example, Harlequin shouldn’t even exist.

And Star Wars is extremely hyped as well. Not to mention COD is taking some big leaps that could pay off for them or could run the franchise right into the ground.

Really? Stars Wars is having a very hard time, I wouldn’t say that is extremely hyped.

a lot of controversy from what ive seen and read… e3 should really show how the game is. i hope its more than just a trailer…

it won’t save COD, the series has had a decline in sales with every new game. AW had lower sales than Ghosts, the only big selling point BO3 has is zombies. I doubt any new feature will be game changing or even good.
Whenever I see GotY I always think of Gotye and then I think of Somebody that I used to know…
Now I’m all for supporting Halo 5, but it’s way too soon to go around calling it game of the year, especially when the year isn’t even half over yet and Halo 5 doesn’t come out until October.
Even if Halo 5 turns out to be the best game this year, it doesn’t have a chance. Its a game exclusive to one console, and on top of that a console that doesn’t have as large of an install base compared to it’s competition. It could easily be the XB1 game of the year, but I think that’s it.

I couldn’t agree more. I would like to see H5 win, but then again Witcher 3 just has it on locked down. Idk we will see what happens.
That seems very far-fetched right now. First, we haven’t even played the full game. Second, there are many games to be announced at E3 that could easily take that spot, like Fallout 4 for example. And third, game of the year is a very high honor, and isn’t something you can throw out for anything.
