Forge is a community staple to Halo. It is important that, with new features being added periodically to the game within the year it is released, the community gets bigger objects and canvas’ to work with. Along with what I hope to see in December, These are some of my requests for Halo 5 Guardians Forge Mode.
Weapon and Vehicle Skins: with new skins and attachments being added to most all weapons and vehicles, I would like to see that they are brought into forge. for example: Vehicles > Scorpion > Urban Scorpion, or Weapons > Assault Rifle > AR Longshot - Pelican and Phantom: Halo 4 delivered, giving us a flyable Pelican into the game. I don’t even need it in campaign, but I would like to see Forge add this asset to its list of objects. Same with the phantom. Same control scheme. It would make for some great maps - UNSC Air Vehicle: Halo 4 did not have this and it has made me sour that I haven’t seen news for the Hornet (Falcon is pre-2558). This is necessary not just for forge, but the game entirely. Halo’s biggest and most massive game yet without this will ruin the game for me. - AI Spawning: With Warzone, enemies spawning is something that can be easily implemented into Halo 5’s Forge Mode. Warzone and Warzone maps will not be forgeable, but that doesn’t mean that AI cannot be implemented in forge. - More Interactive Objects: Buttons, Doors, Windows. These are important to forge for better, more diverse maps and custom game modes.
Already guaranteed, although whether warzone variants come to forge, we don’t know.
The pelican is for mass transport and would only be an interesting vehicle for one or two people anyway. Maybe as an intro/outro thing, but even so… That being said, the phantom is a little better because you can look out from inside, but Id rather just have the falcon and hornet.
See #2. yes.
“easily” Not at all. The reason warzone is not forgable is the same reason AI arent in forge, It does mean that AI cant be in forge. They would have to create a navmesh every time you changed the map, and That wouldn’t work well. eats up too much memory. Especially with animated objects, scripted objects, and effects, it would be hard to make AI work Well in any situation.
From the article it looked like scripting allows for animated objects. To what extend, I don’t know.
We can ask for AI all day long, but the amount of work that would have to be put in to make them work is daunting. You have to worry about pathing, clipping through Geometry, clipping through forge placed items, as well as the amount of memory each map has. If you could add AI, it would be limited.

Yea hopefully they do since its just a change in skin.
2.As pure aesthetics but some would obviously prefer to drive them
3.We got a forerunner aircraft, hopefully we get a UNSC one and actually more forerunner vehicles:tank, car, speeder bike or something give more variety to forerunners (plus new forerunner weapons like another rifle)
4.Not happening its confirmed by Josh Holmes unless he changes his mind
5.Yep being able to push doors, have them work like the H2A gate, windows with glass that can shatter etc.

It is, but it is also a technical limitation that can be solved. Far Cry 4 has it. They’d just need the time and resources to do so, and they likely wouldnt have enough time and resources with a free, post launch update.

Why do people just write ‘this’ you either can’t be bothered to write something constructive or you just want to rank up in the forums really quick by making one word posts like this.

Even DOOM has it its not impossible just from their view it can’t happen now atm maybe later.
I think more stuff to interact with would be cool. you could make some kind of labyrinth map and have like puzzles of sorts to get to the next area. that would be pretty sweet.
I believe halo 5 should have a lot of troop transport vehicles, me and my friends LOVED to pick each other up in hornets and drop each other off and kill each other, halo 4 forge DISAPOINTED me when I learned me and my friends couldn’t screw around and drop each other off. Plus I enjoy doin it for fun. Also, MORE UNSC FLIGHT VEHICLES IN GENERAL
A) The ability to use Infection mode on Forge maps (doubtful considering there is still no talk of Infection in the game in general).
Or
B) The ability to fine tune custom modes to the point where I could create my own Infection mode from scratch if needed. (If forge is really so powerful now, shouldn’t I be able to do this??)
I also need the option to make the number of starting zombies (or any team for that matter) percentage based so that teams remain fair regardless of number of total players. Halo 3 had this option.
My (successful) Forge maps back in the day have always been created for the sole purpose gathering friends to play my own special brand of Infection.
Me and my friends would love to see a falcon or something just so we have an air vehicle for the unsc it would be helping a lot for unsc themed maps and so forth please just please give us at least one unsc air vehicle it would make a lot of people happy
