Is it so far fetched to think that Halo 5: Guardians could have a DLC campaign addition… like Gears Of War 3: Ramms Shadow? The campaign could be from completely different perspectives, perhaps Forerunner, Covenant… or even Insurrectionist? The Campaign-dlc would not be germane to the Reclaimer Saga… but would be a great canonical addition, much like how the books and comics given some background to characters and events.
The Campaign-DLC could also include maps and armor pieces/skins/stances… to which would cost about $20 giving a new perspective to Halo 5: Guardians and more knowledge of each faction… and bonus content for multiplayer. They could be about 5 - 10 missions long… as it is only a dlc.
We should be able to play through events, such as:
- Human-Forerunner War
- Flood-Forerunner War
- Human Civil War(Insurrection)
- Human-Covenant War
- Covenant Civil War(Great Schism)
- Post Human-Covenant War
- Sangheili Civil War
And characters such as:
- Bornstellar-Makes-Eternal-Lasting(Iso-Didact) and Shadow-Of-Sundered-Star(Ur-Didact)
- Thel 'Vadam(Arbiter/Kaidon) and Rtas 'Vadum(Shipmaster)
- Jul 'Mdama(Didact’s Hand/Supreme Commander) and Avu 'Med Telcam(Bishop)
The characters could be as powerful, awesome, weak and pathetic as possible for the story driven emotions…
THIS IS THE FUTURE OF DLC… if you want revenue… additional, fun content that is good value plus some bonuses…
