In the Halo 5 Guardians beta I’ve noticed they’ve pretty much kept the Halo 4 style armor variants for our player model. I’m not a fan of Halo 4’s armor because Mark VI’s shoulders doesn’t look like it did or as "cool as it did in Halo 3 or like how recon’s shoulders don’t look as good as it did in Halo 3.
My Idea is why can’t we get older variants in a update after launch or if possible it can be launched on the disc. I know you can only fit so much on the blu-ray disc for the Next Gen consoles but I don’t see it being a massive issue (then again I have no developer experience so I don’t understand the pains of attempting my suggestion). I also would like to be able to customize my shoulders, I do understand this is a beta and not all this may be or have been implemented so I’m just giving a statement if customization for shoulders was taken out.
Everyone has their favorite Armour that they would want to keep through-out the Halo universe in it’s classic form since for some it’s the best form. I just hope 343i will keep this suggestion in mind that’s if they see it.

the new version of mark VI actually matches and makes it look more powerfull go to theater mode and see how it looks in-game and see what i mean, but the recon is gonne represetent a combination between unsc and covenant and im not a huge fan but i like it right there cuz it matches all weapons and a recon is a pro and can use every weapon, but i know what u mean but 343i are not doing it like waht u think, look at the new main armour athlon, it looks like normal armour, but it isnt halo 3ish but it wont be that ever cuz the armours get better and now they look like that and i like it i think its halo it looks unsc and like the combination between recruit and mark VII

I understand what you’re saying but I’d prefer if 343i would just bring back classic armor with Halo 5; that means everything including the Katana (It’s by team ninja so that could be iffy but yeah). Halo’s classic armor in my opinion is the best and should remain relevant in the upcoming halos no matter what seeing that it’s been apart of the halo universe for years. Some armor in Halo 5 looks alright I’ll give you that but most of it looks awful because it’s just Halo 4 armor with updated graphics/detail. If they can do that with Halo 4 armor then it shouldn’t be a problem for 343i bringing back all past Halos armor in the glorious majestic classic style but remastered with more pixels!
I think you at least need the customization options halo 4 had but I also liked reaches armor and style the best. I’d love to see reaches designs in 5 along with their gen 2 armors but I know it’s a long shot.

I think anything that contains the halo universe even “Reach” (Shudders at the thought) should have it’s armor apart of the next halo installment. I for one want 343i to bring all kinds of armor back instead of changing the look of it, I’d rather have it make a come back with more detail then the last.
Bring back all armors from every installment (reach included) but updated to look Gen 2. Exclude the stupid looking transformer/power ranger/insect armor from H4.
