I recently heard about the news blowout regarding halo 5 guardians multiplayer and campaign. I can honestly deal with no split screen and no elites but i was very disappointed about armor customization. What I think would be an excellent idea is that if you could edit multiple suits. I saw this in the Halo Online trailer and would really like it in the game. Ive seen several fan-made fire teams since we will not get a lot of spartan customization it would be cool if we could edit multiple spartan suits to make up for it. Maybe we could even have to unlock suit slots. In the Halo Online trailer during the customization screens if you look on the middle right and the middle bottom of the screen you can see the player has selected the second suit slot, but 3-5 slots are darker. Maybe you would have to do an achievement or reach a certain spartan rank. You could also unlock these slots in REC packs if you were lucky. THIS WOULD HONESTLY MAKE THE GAME FOR ME. And considering all the disappointing news halo fans could news I’m sure this would reinstall a lot of people’s faith in Halo 5. I really like 343 and love halo 4 and MCC besides its bugs and loved the beta as well. Is there any way i could contact 343 to let them know this idea? Hopefully they take this idea from Halo Online and add it into the game, maybe as DLC. Any opinions?

Even though its only Helmets Visors and Armors… it might not be as limited as we think. At least I certainly hope not, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Yeah. I’m not so much as ranting about armor customization as i am saying what a good idea it would be to edit our own fire team. (Or technically multiple suits)
If they don’t give us intensive armor customization, there will be such backlash that they’ll probably just update it anyways.
We got amazing armor customization in Halo: Reach. I know that was Bungie and not 343 but why would they backpedal?
A friend told me recently that we’ll be getting more customizable options for our Spartan in Halo 5, it won’t be like the beta were it was just the helmet & body (343 did say something about why we only got the helmet & body to customize). I’ll ask him again where he seen it next time I talk to him, but we’ll get more options in the full game for sure.

They have stated the customization will indeed be limited to suits, helmets, visors and skins for armor and weapons (I think it was in the Game Informer Q & A).
From what I gathered they are trading off “nuts and bolts” customization for a huge amount of armor suits to choose from. This makes sense if you look at how many armor suits we have seen already. I think they also said they might release more armor via the REQ system.
As for the OP’s idea, while I think it is a great idea for Halos with a lot of armor customization already, I don’t see much point. It seems like it will be very easy to recreate previous armors when the options are so limited.
Personally I liked the idea I heard where different helmets give you different huds. Or being able to choose different hud options.
Apparently for the halo community on this site they would rather have 1 armor where you change individual parts than tons of armors where you can change some of its parts, plus camos. Its a preference thing, not a matter of better or worse. Personally from an end game perspective i think its more lasting to have several armors to choose from. I remember feeling fatigue in Halo Reach due to how poorly rewarded gamers were.

I would love it if 343 changed the armor costumazation in Halo MCC Where you can change all the parts indivdualy.
