Halo 5: Guardians Arena Breakdown?

Hey guys,

I wanted to ask if anyone has any information on how the Arena will work in Halo 5. As in, it’s a separate mode to Warzone, but will it have like a list of game types e.g. Lone Wolves, Team Slayer, Doubles, SWAT etc etc. So kinda how Halo 3 was, with two distinct categories (Social and Ranked).

If anyone can shed some light on it, I’d be grateful. I haven’t been able to find any details, but that’s probably me just being stupid.

Cheers

I haven’t really been following the details much after the beta but as I understand it Arena is Halo and Warzone is big team Halo with titanfall burn cards and some other random stuff thrown in. But basically Arena is gonna be like Ranked from H3.

I’ve heard nothing myself and I’ve been trying to keep up with all new news of Halo 5. My hope and speculation though is that the playlist breakdown turns out something like this where the Arena will feature approximately 10 or so playlists that are geared for the more competitive arena-based game play; meaning, it as a whole (the entire group of playlists within the Arena) will feature a temporary ban for those who quit too many matches, will be the only playlists to feature visible in-game Competitive Skill Ranks (CSR), and prevent Join-In-Progress.

Yeah, if it turned out like that it would be great.
Any info on how the ranking system/algorithm works? I didn’t get a chance to play the beta, but what’s it like?
