I know this is a little late, but I though this would be a cool idea. A while back there was a commercial for the Master Chief Collection with a grunt that always hid in battle. Who else thinks it would be awesome if 343i put him in one of the secret passages in the campaign?

They need to make that Grunt Canon. It would be fun.

I am absolutely stunned, and terribly ashamed with myself as a Halo fan, that I never saw that ad. I am going to go cry in a corner now… After of course, I finish laughing at that video xD
On topic, I think that Grunt would be a fantastic easter egg. Easter Egg Grunts are something of a tradition, so why not add this guy in too? 
He should be hiding behind a rock and every once in a while he would peak around it. They could even make him say things such as, “I don’t think they will find me here”, or “I should of brought snacks”.
