I just wanna say that graphics are still being tweaked, I also thought Halo 5 E3 looked bad but still in development
And sorry for bad quality on the vidoc, the E3 I got from gamersyde which has way better quality than youtube
I think they both look good? Although the E3 one looks better but that’s because of the quality of the video the pictures were taken from.

vidoc is better, the reflections, more light in the structure, more lightning boucing to it, the E3 looks in all of that, its just the quality, althought the rocks seem less detailed, but again still in development

E3 definitely looks better, I have to agree with DSight, and I’m pretty sure that the part shown in the Vidoc is from earlier in the development.
And there is not more lighting bouncing to it, the lighting in the Vidoc looked like in the Beta, also the render resolution in the Vidoc doesn’t look as high as in the E3 trailer.
E3 playable Warzone demo was running at 720p, from what I now. The final game will have an adaptive resolution, if what they said in a recent video is true. Other than that, the footage that we see in the ViDoc was taken at various stages in the development…
Still, the in the Vidoc (I’m talking about the pictures you are talking about, I know that the footage in the Vidoc was taken at various stages in the development) there are A LOT more jaggies than in E3 trailer.
I think that 343 should focus on the way the explosion occur because they look so bad, they look fake and the shape of the structures look so simple.

This. The game looks fine overall but the explosions are absolutely terrible. Even the scripted elements (buildings crumbling, ships falling) look really bad.

so I’m actully the only one who thinks that the beta had slightly better look then the E3 gameplay (I know both were diferent maps and lightning) but the E3 gameplay seemed to lack alot in terms of lightning ilumination. And like I said the E3 video from where I got the screenshot was from gamersyde whuch provides the vids with the best quality possible…
The bottom picture not only suffers from the video source, but pay attention to the details in the distance - texture qualities, especially on the far back of the main structure, are low quality. Hopefully they don’t have streaming issues in the game, like the newest arkham game does (playing on pc, and the pop in gets really annoying when it goes from low to “normal”).
I have some faith that the game will look impressive and perform well. But the dynamic resolution and largeģ sudden framerate dips have been in most Halo games (Halo 2’s release version paled in comparison to the super-hyped E3 build it had and failed to deliver). But 343 did the best in the way H4 looked/ran (albeit at 30fps). As long as it’s smooth, it should be fine. Hope the cutscenes are rendered at 60fps too, though (the Warzone gameplay doesn’t look like they are)
I felt like the graphics in the ViDoc SOLD me. I was disappointed at the E3 reveal graphics but damn you can see how amazing the texture and lighting is now:

do you think they will make it look better or it would suck just as the explosions in halo 4?, all seems amazing except for the explosions and the things where the explosions occur.
Not upgraded, just better capturing software. E3 footage always looks recorded with a potato.

They said they’re at the polishing stage and mostly focusing on boosting up the resolution, so it’s possible, but not sure how likely it is.

list was a waste of my time.
Slightly better visuals then Halo 4 visuals will suffice because what they need to focus on is larger environments and less linear corridor shooting. Not to mention improved AI behaviour for your AI buddies as that will be a massive factor. Demanding visuals way above Halo 4 visuals and still expecting 1080p @ 60 FPS is asking too much. I believe that to be so due to the Xbox One having low end PC hardware and DDR3 Ram for VRAM that already has issues with demanding texture streaming and high resolutions. And another main issue that Halo has had is that the campaign is always too short. Ten missions just does not cut it nor those extremely short missions for example, first level of Halo 1, last level of Halo 3 (shortest level ever) and many others. If we are going to play as two separate main characters with their own stories the level amount should be doubled as well as the levels themselves being filled with much more content. Hopefully Locke’s and Chief’s single players campaigns are separate also as jumping from one to the other feels dislocating; just like what happened with Halo 2 and playing as the Arbiter.
Conclusion. Don’t worry about the visuals as Halo has never lagged behind in the visuals department. We should be worried in regards to more important game elements such as what I mentioned above.
I thought the E3 looked pretty good.

Same. If people want better then we won’t get stable frame-rates nor the desired 1080p resolution. There’s a line between game-play, size of maps and visuals.
