Halo 5 Good versus Bad

The arena is much improved and that I am thankful for that, as for most other aspects. The campaign, warzone, and simple things like customization are either lackluster or downright bad.

I kind of have grown to the REQ system, I like the thruster, ground pound, etc, and I think halo 5 should indeed be rated m and have split screen

Oh thank god I thought I was the only one that couldn’t save my MLG kills because my theater wasn’t working. I thought it was a problem with my Xbox

in this case unfortunately the negative aspects of halo 5 FAR exeeds that of the positives

But you got to admit, now the game has had all these updates, it is a very good game with lots to do and play.

Well maybe the new windows 10 forge could help. The controls take a little getting used to but once you do the possibilities go way beyond any past halo.

God this is wrong on so many levels, everything you have mentioned is what was wrong with reach and 4, go and play cod you filthy casual

Good things - area gold and all that warzone and ext

Bad things-split screen and picking ever peace of armor

Panther21222-

Not as much blood as in previous Halos. Hence the Teen rating.

Yes that is true

> I never understood why a T rating is bad, I know there’s a bit less gore but that’s mostly because of the lack of flood and these days the ESRB is much more lax with its ratings.

Probably because without the M rating, the OP is referring that a lot of annoying little kids will come and infest this game well I’m in Australia and this game is rated M just like Halo 3 and ODST & CoD: BO3 is rated R18+ and yet there is way more little kids infesting CoD. To me that’s just being nitpicky towards why he dislikes the game.

And in the USA most parents will buy the game eaither way.

Yep it’s not the ESRB fault for having little kids playing M rated games it’s the parents responsibility to allow his/her kid to access mature content.

Yeah, no split-screen really sucks…

good- hit detection

bad- everything else

> 2533274954534949;64:
> Yeah, no split-screen really sucks…

Yea I could agree with that

I mostly agree. I hated that there was no splitscreen! But there’s one more bad thing: The story is AWFUL! Bad plot!

OP I think your good list is a bit short but an opinion is an opinion. As for myself:

Pro:

  • Over 20+ useful weapons with balance when used at proper distance. This is immensely difficult to pull off and I have said before and I will say again it’s the crowning achievement of MP Halo 5. - Forge. - Equal Loadouts with a lot of balance in the maps. It’s FPS in it’s purest form. - A more useful precision loadout weap. The pistol is still useful but most of us still ditch it when we come across a BR or DMR so it’s in a nice spot. - 99.5% of my deaths are completely my fault. Yes you can click on my stats and discover it’s my fault a lot. But knowing this is a great feeling in terms of trying to improve yourself as a player and knowing the mistakes you made were mistakes and not some fluky aspect of the game or some terrible OP weap or unbalanced map. - Warzone. When it’s all said and done this is a better game with Warzone than without. - Weapon Variants in Warzone.
    Cons:

  • No Split screen - Clunky Theater - Tiny radar. It also makes Spartan Chargers even more annoying. - Lobby. Although at least the postgame Lobby is much better now compared to launch. - Not enough earned armor and too much RNG. Right now I think it’s like 5% earned and 95% RNG. I think even if it was 30/70 or 40/60 the community would be much happier. - Armor customization - I am more of a MP than a Campaign guy but seemingly everyone is in agreement on the lackluster or rushed story. - Spartan Charge. I won’t say it’s OP but it’s just an annoying ability.
Things I would do to some of the smaller annoying things.
Make it to where you can flag REQ’s you hate so they insta-sell back to the house right after opening a pack.
Sell Req’s in bulk. The time it takes to sell one at a time is annoying.

Now I can see the potential argument well if we opened the customization more to armor there would be even more annoying REQ’s like gloves or wrists. Imagine the rage of dropping 10K on a gold pack to get ultra rare gloves. There are honestly 2 solutions to that and they can take a choice. Either the armor you get from the Req pack is basically 4 or 5 usable pieces of armor so it essentially discloses in the same way it currently does but they are like a 4 or 5 in one card. The other method is have the smaller pieces linked to commendations, achievements or pure leveling.

Ignore him, he’s just a competitve scrub with a closed mind, I’m fine with competitive Halo, as long as it has casual aspects too, that’s why I tear the -bad word- outta Halo 5, nothing casual.
