I think 343 is waiting to release Halo 5 on Xbox One before they do another Global Championship Free For All for $200,000. Because i havent heard any news on another Halo Global Championship, i believe Halo 5 will come out later this year and then in early 2015 343 will do a Global Championship for the new Halo 5.

That would be a good thing to do that way H5(or Halo XB1) can have more staying power(If everything else in the game goes right) and increase competitiveness in the game.

Hopefully, Halo 5 will actually have a decent competitive gamemode at launch. Otherwise, any tournaments or events pre-patch will be pretty lackluster.

I actually want to watch the H5 championship. I found the other games boring to watch, but with halo 5, it just gas that feeling of impact while watching. Like the ground pound, something tells me that will cause people to go OOOOHHH when someone uses the ground pound properly.
