So i been playing halo a while and im a pretty decent player, with a good understanding of the game. But for a while now its as if im not getting better and would be looking for any information to get to the next level of a decent player becoming good. Any higher level player that would have the patience would be much appreciated.
Ah, so you’re looking for tips and tricks as to how become better. In which case I would say there isn’t any tricks out there to assist you. Most of it has to do with trying new things, and practice through actual games. You won’t ever become better if you can’t or won’t throw yourself head first into the games.
Although for the sake of assistance if my previous statement hadn’t done anything for you. There are countless Halo YouTubers who focus around players getting better than what they were previously. Dar, Lukethenotable, etc. Be sure to look them up if you want tips in a video format.

not so much tricks but i agree for sure , would say my biggest problems are going to be situational. definitely passive vs aggressive play can be an issue and placement in attacking/defending formations.
I think I went through the same slump you are mentioning in this post.
If i understand right, the games are starting to become routine and you arent learning as often as when you first started playing.
If thats correct or similar, HC BlameRickey is right watching other players on youtube does help out know the little details that are only noticeable when you get really involved. What I ended up doing was watching different pro players and how they go about their gameplay.
Ex. Frosty from CLG has so many sneaky spots on each map you normally wouldn’t even think about.
Hope this helps and you get to where you want! See you on the battle field!
