So Halo 5 Guardians was playable yesterday and I want to know your opinions on it.
My personal opinion is that it is good, but some things could be changed.
For instance on the map Truth I feel that it is one sided as most of the games I have been in one side dominates the other, that may have been because of:
a) Me
b) My Team
c) People learning about the controls
d) The Map
I think it is most likely a and c but I just want to check if I’m the only one. Apart from that the game seems fine to me but I have heard others complain about OP weapons like the BR or that the games are to fast paced but I don’t see this. So what do you think of the Guardians Beta?
I have enjoyed the games I’ve played so far. I’ve only won a few but it’s fun.
I feel like it’s not too far off from being balanced because each weapon has its place so far. Who knows after they add other weapons like the plasma pistol (boo.)
(Obviously there can be slight adjustments though. AR comes to mind at range. Although it’s fun to use.)
I can’t go into complete detail because I haven’t put a lot of time in so far. I’m enjoying it as is at the moment.
I really like this game. It has dynamism and this is very funny. The controls are confortable, the game sounds very good and the weapons skins are fine. The most importante thing is the gameplay, and for me is great, the best Halo multiplayer I have ever played
I’m loving this game. It’s pretty up and down on how i do though. Went 24 13 this last match, and 10 22 before it. Time to kill needs to be upped a bit, other than that it’s awesome.
Amazing for a game 9 months away from release. AR needs to be shortened, grenades need a tiny shortening, controls need to be tuned better, and the ranking system needs to find a way not punish people with bad teams.
Simply it is too fast paced. They need to have a look at what bungie did with halo reach as far as gunfights and time to kill. And start from the drawing board.
I’m not saying I didn’t have fun at all because what is new is fresh but with kill times this quick the game will get stale fast.
I’m loving the beta.
Weapons feel balanced, though the SMG feels a tad bit underpowered compared to everything else.
I’m mostly paired up with beginners and people going in the negatives, so I guess better players aren’t on at the moment?
Haven’t gotten anyone with Ground Pounding, I feel vulnerable up in the air. I’m not fond of the slugging sniper zoom in.
It took 2 matches to finally get the pace of the game.
Overall, my experience so far is pretty damn good. I’ll wait a bit till there’s enough decent players around. Starting to feel bad about demolishing people who are starting.
I had a match where one team wouldn’t leave their spawning base on Truth, they bunched in a corner due to not being able to deal what was happening to them.
The complainers will disappear and whittle out, they’ve already made their choice from one match. c;

You just have to remember this is a BETA so the “state” of the game isn’t the best and they will listen to the feedback, that’s the whole point of ALPHA’s and BETA’s.

I feel this way too. Super refreshing and the best FPS I’ve played in a very long time.
