Halo 5 Gaurdians Corrupted

Hello there , I just wanted to ask how can I fix my halo 5 Gaurdians game, because it’s corrupted. I already tried to uninstall it and then reinstall, and it doesn’t work. So can you tell me how I can fix it please!!! I’m a huge fan of HALO, please help me !!!

In itself, what is the problem?

OP’s IP could be banned, that is a possibility to always consider.
But I doubt it’s an issue regarding playing multiplayer if it’s the game…

Its when ever I click on the Halo 5 Guardians game, it sends me to the Xbox store.

You are still having this issue? Ok, some more questions:

  • You say you are sent to the store when you try to start Halo 5. You have Halo 5 progress so it looks like at some point you were able to play. When did this issue start? - When you were able to play Halo 5, were you playing from a disk or a digital copy? - If you were playing from a digital copy, was it a copy you had bought and owned on your account, or was it a copy owned by someone else’s account? - When it takes you to the Xbox Store, does it let you buy Halo 5 for money, or does it say “already owned” or “install”?

1.The issue started about 9 months ago
2. I was playing on Digital
3.And also I bought the digital game on my account
4. It actually tells me to buy the game and it shows that I have it owned

Hm. Can you show me a screen shot of what you see when you try to boot up Halo 5?

This all sounds like the Xbox Store is not recognizing your license. I would suggest contacting Xbox Support about this issue. Be prepared to prove that you purchased Halo 5 (a purchase confirmation, receipt, or log in your Microsoft account; anything that shows you bought it digitally). If you haven’t already, try restoring your licenses; I would Google search that process to see if it can do anything for you.

I have already contacted Xbox and they did not do anything.
I was also wondering,what if I can use a 4TB hard drive to fix it.
Would it work ?

I don’t know why a external HDD would fix the issue.
I understand that sometimes Xbox gives the run around but this really sounds like an Xbox issue. If you were able to load up the game, but couldn’t log in, I’d say it was a 343i problem. But it sounds like your account/console doesn’t recognize you own the game. That would definitely be an Xbox issue. You should try contacting them again and insist that the issue is on Xbox’s end.

Also, did you look up restoring your licenses?
