Halo 5: Gardian beta. Game disk requires

It is written that it is necessary to have the halo master chief collection disk for access to the beta.

Does this means that if I buy the digital version of the game I will not have acces tout the beta?

‘Disc required’ usually just means you have to own the game, be it a physical copy or digitally. You will get beta access. :slight_smile:

You will most likely need the game itself whether it be digital or on a disc. If you have the game in either form you should be able to play the beta

You’ll need the Halo Master Chief Collection and it will be in the “Extras” section as demonstrated at 10:36 in this video:

Have they confirmed a digital version? I haven’t heard about this.

More to the point: You only need a disc if you bought a disc-based game. What it really means is that you will have to access the Halo 5 beta through a menu in the Master Chief Collection.

Looks like all game on Xbox one have a digital version.

To quote microsoft: “Games are Games are Games”
As far as i know, and as far as we’ve been told, all games released on xbox one will be released Digitally.

MS as confirmed that ALL games out on XB1 will have a digital release on day one.
