Since the updatew Everytime I try to play any modes, custom games, online, warzone and when i’m directed to the server my game crash and go back to the xbox menu… Please help 
! + I reinstalled the game and now all is broken…
How I fixed it ? : Just reset your xbox one with all your games and reinstall Halo 5.

343i knows about the issue. It’s not your system or game, it’s on their end. A fix is planned sometime in the future to address the issue.
I’m not sure what b0b is talking about since I can’t find any article talking about known issues like that in the latest update.
Does it also crash in campaign?
Can you open the customisation menu or the REQ store from in-game?

This issue has been present since the Overtime Update Nick. You can’t find anything new on this because it’s an old issue that’s only now affecting more players due to this latest update. Furthermore, 343i isn’t exactly known for acknowledging glitches/issues on their own. You’ll see them respond to others inquiries and posts from time to time but they’ll never on their own outright say to us that there are issues with the game. This game has been riddled with issues since it launched, but unless you scour every Halo related forum like I’ve been doing for years, you won’t come across many of these issues people are having let alone be aware of them or experience them yourself. The same fix that was promised back then is what would remedy this current set of issues. We’re still in the waiting period for that fix. No ETA for it yet.

How widespread is this crash issue? I would like to find any common circumstances for the users affected. I did not have any crashes like this.
After OT update, widespread. After latest update, it’s affected mass amounts of players on a near plague-like level. Every few hours there is a new post with someone asking why their game is freezing/crashing. Also, this is akin to the MCC effect. It doesn’t happen for just a few people, and those people just so happen to be active in communities where they voice that it doesn’t happen to them.

I love halo5.My game crash every day always after 3-4 hours of play this happening in the lobby multiplayer At the end of matches…crash And return to dashboard
That not the same think, when i play the vanilla game everything is normal and running ok, but when i play with the update I launch a game, campaign, or whatever think and my game have glitchs graphics and crash…
Recently, i reinstalled the game, first think i saw : The game didn’t finish the installation. It stopped at 55,53~~Go and not at 56,06Go. Now when i launch the game it directly crash at the microsoft studio cinematic…
My game crash when open req pack in transition of matcmaking…Very Strange
No resolution for this problem…I try all.things
I fix it, just reset your xbox with all your game and reinstall Halo 5.

Halo5 continue to close to home and the strange thing is that it always after 4 hours since i start playing and always closes when i open req packs i have long investigated according you what depends?..the game disc is new

Did you try to reset your xbox ?
On mission 8 Swords of Sanghelios when I start the mission the cinematic when the ship goes on the planet and lands but before it lands it crashes and I get kicked to the home screen. I tried to do it again but it would happen again!!! Please help!!

Try a hard reset, if that doesn’t work try moving the installed game to an external HDD, if nothing of those things works, then try to reinstall the game…

Reinstalling does nothing to remedy this issue. Please don’t waste your time doing this. This is an issue with the game, on the 343i side of things. They have to fix it.

It worked for me, now I have no issues with the campaign… and I also had problems with the sound… on the other hand, the screen that freezes during or after a game remains…
Every time I start-up Halo 5 Guardians it will go through the Microsoft studio animation and when it is done it will go to a black screen and crash.
