Pretend HALO 5 would be the next game after HALO 3 and that the games in between would not have existed. What new/old features would you like to see in HALO 5 so it would become a great game?
(I am not saying HALO 5 is a bad game at the moment)
Perhaps a more advanced movement system and a visual update to the zoom mechanic. Remove dual-welding in order to sort out the sandbox.

- I would keep duel wielding and actually make an attempt to balance it instead of giving up on it right away
- Keep Halo 3’s theatre system, it was the best in the franchise so far
- Expand on Halo 3’s customization options for Elites and Spartans. While it may not have had the most options overall, it had the most options for both races, something that never carried over with Reach and Halo 4
- ODST’s level of difficulty for firefight, with Reach’s custom firefight options thrown in.
- Larger scaled battles with pelicans, phantoms, scarabs, elephants, etc for both campaign and MM
- Space battles, both with infantry in zero-gravity environments (utilizing thruster packs) as well as various space fighters like the Longsword and Seraph
- Add in Reach’s custom game/forge options, and then expand on those options by giving us control of the weather (either through direct weather control or through several choices of maps), control over the map’s environment, control over the themes/aesthetics of the basic forge walls, doors, and other pieces.
- In addition to Halo 3’s vehicles, bring in all the vehicles from all the Halo games and make them available for forge/customs, including campaign exclusives like the Shadow, AA Wraith, Transport Hog, various Falcon variants, etc.
- Bring back the Plasma Launcher to counter the Spartan Laser, and the Grenade Launcher and Railgun to counter the Brute Shot/Concussion Rifle
- Allow players to choose between other playable characters other than Spartans/Elites for custom games, like ODST, Marines, Brutes, Hunters, Jackals, etc.
