Halo 5 Free Week

as of 8:42pm EST, there is still no option for my friends to download Halo 5 for the free week to play with me. Any updates on when it will become available, all they can see is the discount.

Xbox store tell me that’s its on but that’s on my PC.

Have you searched the game manually?

Yes, he tried finding it through Games With Gold and just Searching Halo 5. The game pops up with a 49% discount at $37.50 CAD

Nope, he checked and it didn’t work. His xbox has been having weird issues lately like making him appear offline and all that constantly, support just told him to power cycle which I recommended him to do earlier (for the appearing offline thing). I’ll let you guys know what happens.

No they are not. They tried hard resetting and that didn’t work. Could being a preview member with the latest Xbox dashboard update have anything to do with it? I am also a member and cannot see it but I already own the game so I assume it says play because of that.

Yes there were some issues for Preview members. Seeing that they should be resolved in the last 15 minutes, but it may still take a little longer for that to filter through.

I’m the friend in this situation. All day I’ve been searching through the Xbox One Digital Store, Games With Gold, Xbox store on my computer, store on my phone, and nothing. I do have Gold, and I am a preview program member. Leaving the preview program would force me to factory reset, which would make everything worse, but sitting here restarting/ refreshing my Xbox has had no results.

All resolved, turns out I’m an idiot and never checked my Ready to Install tab…Thanks for the help though
