Yesterday on the Official Halo stream it was stated that Halo 5 Guardians Would be Free 1 week for Gold users. I can’t seem to find it being free, was this a mistake or is there any info on when this will happen?
I thought it was supposed to be from today on till next week. It’s so they can try and get new players in probably.
see it as the full game demo for a week. It’s not free meaning you download it and get the full game forever… You’ll have to pay for it after the free period is over

They should make halo 5 warzone Free to Play. But players without a copy of halo 5 can not earn RP. It’ll encourage people to buy the game (or at least buy REQ packs) because $$$…
I told some people about it being free but they cannot find it either. I have it on disc but will probably buy the digital as well. Just not sure where to point them to the “free play days” version. I did see it when I went to the gold tab on the home screen of the dash and it said free play days. Of course selecting the game said $59.99 because it was before the 29th. But now it is not there at all and going to the game just shows the gold discount.
So not sure when the free play version will show up.

when i look it up on the web it says its half off, my friend will check in a minute to see if it appears as free to him, i cant since i already own the game.

Try in store I own it on disk but in store it says install or buy at 50% discount

I did read you OP, only some people are mentioning the word FREE like it was free forever… I was just making sure you didn’t make the same mistake as other members on the forum thinking it’s FREE FREE
Checked on the console and online and I am still seeing the 50% discount and no install option yet. My wife and a few others are not seeing the install option either. So it must not be showing up for everybody yet.

Yep i really dislike it when you can’t seem to find this kind of information… I even asked Xbox Support and they could not give me an answer, they are “investigating.”
Yeah, I have a friend waiting for the install option to show up. I would like to know when this is supposed to happen.
Why is it still not free to DL ? In 4 hours it’ll be 30th June. It only says 35 bucks for gold members nothing else. Restarted nothing.

The thing with this is i saw it on the Gold tab of the dash. I clicked on the tab and next to the Crew, Goat Simulator, and Xcom there was a free play days section with Halo 5. Was on there for days, even yesterday the 28th. Selecting it would show the full price as expected. Today it is gone completely from there. And when I go to the store it says the discounted price only. Why put it in the Gold section where they list the GwG and the discounts like that and then remove it once the “deal” is supposed to launch.

Yea there seems to be an issue on their side, hopefully it will resolve at some point today
