Halo 5 fov

So i had not played the game in like 4 days and coming back this fov makes me extremely claustrophobic and panicky. Has anybody else experienced the same?

No. I don’t really play a lot of FPS games so I don’t tend to notice the fov. I know some people do though and I’ve heard stories of people getting sick from Halo 5 fov.

No… But on the map torque I once felt a little vertigo when I saw that the platform was moving and with the stars moving in the other direction.

The FOV is very bad in this game. It feels like it’s 60 or lower. I uninstalled it. After playing games at 90-120 FOV, I just can’t play this anymore. Why can’t console games have FOV sliders? Titanfall 2 does.

The FoV in Halo 5 is 77 degrees, or about the same as Halo Reach. This can definitely feel very narrow if you’ve been playing a lot of games at 90 or higher, and/or are sitting very close to your screen.

I felt this too today. Played some warzone, felt like I couldn’t see anything,. Though I think, in my case this is something in my head. Give yourself some time, you will see you get use to it pretty soon. =)

it’s a shame Halo is sticking to it’s tunnel vision FOV while other games manage to include a FOV slider on console (Doom, TF2, BF1)
