Ok, I’m not new to forge. I’ve been forging since halo 3 and have made quite a bit but when it comes to halo 5, I don’t know where to start. Any tips? What I mean is, everything seems like you need a PHD to make maps now. Is there a way to make it basic forge like the old days? I’ve looked and can’t figure It out. With limited time, I really don’t have time to move 5 blocks at a half hour pace. Please, any constructive tips or tricks will be welcomed. I miss making maps. Check out my files to see my creations. Halo 3 - halo 4, and Halo reach. I would love to rebuild some of my old maps on here but just can’t seem to wrap my hands around the schematics.
I also had the same problem to begin with. There isn’t really any way to explain it to you, you just have to play it a ton to get the hang. I made a test map to help me.
Just start small. Build a grifballcourt or maybe some basic aesthetics. Check out lots of other maps to get inspiration about what you can do with certain blocks or accents. Anything is possible.
I never really forged myself but learned it bit by bit on H5.
