You done good, Jimmy.

My PC meets the requirements, has Anniversary update installed, and it says the same: “Halo Forge Bundle is currently not available”

wtf?

same for me it wont let me download

Same problem here…anyone find a solution yet?

Try searching ‘Halo Forge Bundle’ in the store instead.

you need windows 10 anniversary edition and you need the required minimum specs

So much work omg

i did look for the halo bundle its sais its unavailable and i have the anniversary installed

What if I told you all that some of us already have:
System requirements met;
Windows 10 AU updated;
Have searched for Halo , Halo Forge , Halo Bundle , Halo App or whatever and still… GAME IS UNAVAILABLE.

Stop giving the same information over and over again “you need windows update , you need windows update…” , same thing over and over again , and rather have someone fix the damn problem on windows store. EASY.
But I can bet this post will be totally ignored by the actual moderators.

Needs updated info for the answer please. I have Anniversary Update as well and more than meet the spec requirements but I am still having the same issue.

you download it through the halo App  hope this helps

Yeah, I had to contact Microsoft Tech support to resolve the Issue. Here’s a breakdown of what happened from the beginning for me and found a pattern:

1. I own an ASUS Republic of Gamers G20AJ-US023S that was upgraded to Windows 10 from 8.1 earlier this year.
-had difficulty doing so from the Windows Update page on Microsoft’s help page. Automatic install would stop near the end of the process and was giving me error messages saying my system doesn’t meet requirements. (even though it does and was verified by Microsoft’s techs.)

  • After 3 tries by their techs taking control my desktop remotely, they had to skip the automatic download/install set up wizard thing and instead download the Windows 10 ISO files onto a USB flash drive. (More on this later)
with the following option from Download Windows 10 “Using the tool to create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) to install Windows 10 on a different PC”
    - I also needed to enter my windows Product Key very important to verify your version of windows so it can install again
  • Installing Windows 10 from that ISO/flash drive allowed me to install successfully for 6 months until now

2. Having Windows 10 installed and running on this PC for months it ran well until I attempted to grab the Anniversary Update by going back to the Windows Update website: Download Windows 10
*-*Ran the tool to auto update Windows 10 by itself and voila the update seemed to installed fine and was working fine.
-Had many Anniversary features installed and I was happy. Windows Store was up to date and Halo 5 Forge Bundle was there and it was available.
-Clicked to download the Bundle and BAM! “Something went wrong” ****WTF???*****
So I tried to download each app individually and successfully downloaded the Halo App I was happy that it worked! tried to click on the button to download Forge… “Something went wrong” and some BS along the lines of "Your PC does not meet requirements for this app (TOTAL BS since my processor, memory and graphics card were all above the minimum requirements [far from a beast mode rig but enough to play] AND I had the Anniversary update)

  • With the Halo App installed but the Forge app stuck in limbo and either greyed out on the Windows Store app or error messages when trying to download it from the Halo App I hopped on chat with Microsoft again.

3. The REAL Problem… they told me the Anniversary update didn’t install completely or correctly.??? Okay Microsoft Tech do you thing fix it!

  • they uninstalled the Anniversary update.
  • Tried re-installing it - PROBLEM - “Your PC does not meet the requirements to run Windows 10”
  • WHAT THE EFFFFFFF??? (Im on the first version of Windows 10 NOW!? even the Tech was irritated with this.
  • This time he tried another updater tool almost completed the install then a different problem…
"ERROR: Your BIOS is out of date, contact your hardware manufacturer"

- An outdated BIOS - is what has been giving me problems installing Windows 10 and updates from the beginning.
I would have to contact ASUS… eventually… but not now… don’t nobody got have time for that… (will likely come back to bite me again later but oh well)
- Tech offered a workaround - DOWNLOAD THE WINDOWS 10 ANNIVERSARY ISO!!!
(this wipes your programs and files clean also so make sure YOU BACK EVERYTHING UP and can download or install all of your old files and programs again or you’ll lose them!!!)

4. Downloaded Windows 10 Anniversary ISO to USB flashdrive - ((YOU WILL NEED YOUR WINDOWS 10 PRODUCT KEY!!!))
-if you dont know what you did with your Windows 10 Product Key try: - YouTube
or trying chatting with Microsoft Tech support and asking them how to find it.

  • Saved all files and important stuff to an external HD or cloud
-Downloaded and installed Anniversary Update from an ISO off of my flashdrive successfully
-Downloaded all my old programs, graphics, drivers etc and files
-Opened Windows store app downloaded Forge bundle successfully
