Has 343i really not even given a clear release date yet?

There’s only one reason why a developer wouldn’t give an official release date.

I think Reach will take a good chunk out of the Halo 5 population, and if they ever get the MCC working then that’s going to take another chunk

It certainly wouldn’t surprise me.

Honestly I think 343i will release Forge at right around the same time Halo: Reach becomes backwards compatible to try and counteract the inevitable population drop. If they weren’t afraid of the population drop, Halo: Reach would have been in the first group of backwards compatible games made available not long ago.
