Halo 5 Forge: Please AI in forge !!!!

Hey guys, after trying the new mcc h2a forge and watched the latest halo 5 forge news, i’m hyped and can’t wait to have and play halo 5. No need to tell you that I’m a huge fan of firefight and the next step for forge will be to integrate AI in forge. I love forge but the only sad part about it is to make a map that you can’t have fun in it because you have no friend online to play with you :frowning: Now, It will make a perfect way to reintegrate firefight by adding in it the next forge. And if this is possible, bring back the flood for forge, has a huge fan of COD Zombie and Halo flood, I would play it: all day, all night, all year long until the next halo

Let’s be honest, Forging firefight game type map with flood zombie in Halo 5 forge would be super great and awesome

Am I alone to think that way ?

So much yes here

Always wanted it.

What’s the latest halo 5 forge news?

Wanted this as well and it could be a good thing for those who still make machinima.

Zilch.

Been asking since Halo Reach, but what Halo 5 forge news has there been? I haven’t heard anything at all.

Maybe bots in custom games? So if you have no friends to play with or matchmaking servers are not working (cough cough MCC cough cough) then you can still have something to do without playing the campaign the 9999th time

Make your own ODST level, or try and recreate a battle in the books!

If you mean multiplayer bots I don’t feel like it would belong Halo, sorry. But something like “Forge your Firefight” it would be amazing

Problem that was brought up when discussing this a while back was how the AI would be able to navigate your maps. In campaign and firefight AI has a drawn out possibility of paths, but in forge players can create and place blocks how they feel. So AI in forge may not be possible.

Maybe a firefight editor that lets us slightly edit firefight maps, but that’s really it. Call it fire forge.

At the rate that game tech is evolving its realy up to 343 to show us how creative they are with their new tool. I do think its possible and what ever trick they come up with to create ai in forge possible, I will defenetly use it

Instead of AI Bots, I would rather have a streamlined system for the community to promote custom maps to a matchmaking playlist dedicated to community content. Without matchmaking support for post-forged maps, 90% of the content made in forge will once again go unused, unplayed, unappreciated.

Having said that. I do feel that AI Bots are a reasonable second option. At least I will have opportunity to play on the maps I create, even though its only with AI bots.

This has pretty much always been my concern. I can see a lot of people making long, narrow hallways that only allow for enemies to move single file and sit at one end with a sniper rifle unless there are some heavy restrictions.

I would love that they find a way to have Ai seting ex: enemy/friendly, agressived/scared/passived, convenant/spartan/foreneur/flood. I don’t get why puting some type of path zone on a forge map for the ai to move freely would be impossible to make and maybe add an option on the object on the floor so that it can be use as cover. Anyone else have some more idea to make it work ;p
