I was messing around with Forge on Halo 5: Guardians the other day, and I’m still trying to get my bearings because of how stupidly complicated it is compared to previous Forge incarnations. What I found when pressing RB and D-left [right bumper and left on the directional pad] was this:
You know how when you’re looking at an object and it shows the X/Y/Z co-ordinates for its position AND rotation? Well, this button combination shows those same stats for YOU!
This is what it said for me when I first loaded it up:
4.010 -108.469 -17.950 / 359.10 2.03 / 1.000 [normal]
This is my guess as to what these numbers track:
- The first number tracks your position on the X-axis, the second your position on the Y-axis, and the third your position on the Z-axis. These values are traced to the nearest thousandth. - The first number after the slash determines which direction you are facing, and the second number how much you are looking up or down. These are traced to the nearest hundredth of a degree. - I’m not entirely sure what the 1.000 [normal] is supposed to be, but my best guess is it tracks the speed of the game.If anyone else has experienced this, let me know.
