Halo 5 Forge is amazing on PC!
Since 343i has kindly added server browsing to the “Halo forge” game on PC I have had such a good time playing online with other Halo lovers. The games title is a little misleading. A lot of people I’ve talked to, even some of my friends never knew that it even includes multiplayer. It does have all the same features of Halo 5’s forge mode on Xbox, with the addition of mouse and keyboard support, which I have to tell you makes creating and building so much easier in my opinion. But there is so much more to the FREE PC version than forge. With the server browsing option you can chose from a huge variety of different games/gametypes to join. Halo 5 on Xbox has a somewhat limited playlist selection, which is why I have had so much fun recently on PC.
If you have a pc you should really check it out for yourself. To anyone already playing, feel free to add me and invite/join me anytime.
See ya

It doesn’t belong in the support forums so since its Halo 5 I put it here
I think the other poster means there is a Support forum for Forge. I wouldn’t really call the title misleading, it’s advertising what the game’s true purpose is - to bring Forge and its tools to PC and allow map creators a new and more precise way to Forge maps and test them out. The faux multiplayer you get with the Custom Games Browser is really just a pleasant bonus. If anything it should be enticement for others to try some custom games and maps and perhaps buy the full game for Xbox

I get that people got that impression from it, but looking at what people from 343 have said, I don’t think they treat the custom games as just a bonus.
Tom French (regarding the customs browser): “we wanted to help the PC community kind of start to work together and get to play, more than they could right now, and so this is a great way for them to find a game”. And while that’s just Tom French saying it, he wouldn’t have made that statement if the company as a whole didn’t want that.
Frank O’Connor: “Dude I’m getting good at Mouse/Keyboard. I may get a gaming rig for my house. Once the custom game browser is available I think the community might get crazy legit.”. Since he said that the community might have gotten big once the customs browser was added, it’s clear that he is excited about people playing custom games, and not just forging. And since he made that post before the game was even released on PC, it was obviously their intention all along, and not just a bonus now that it’s finally added.
If 343 just wanted it to be a forge tool for PC and try entice people to get the game on Xbox, I don’t they wouldn’t have put resources into making the customs browser work in the PC version.

Yeah I just saw that while looking around. But I just meant that the title is misleading because some people think that its just for forge. But the custom games with server browsing is great and I just wanted to spread the word about how much fun its is. Hopefully bringing more people to come check it out.
