I know some of these issues (if not all) have already been addressed on reddit and elsewhere but I cannot stress enough how much they effect the players and the game as well. I know 343 is working on some of these issues i.e. FOV Sliders and FPS Capped at 60 frames. However, the most important issue is the Mouse Input Delay.
Here are some of the major issues I have noticed and truly need fixing. Forge has so much potential even for a small competitive scene if these issues are fixed.
Mouse Delay (Input Lag): El Dewrito’s Halo Online had a similar issue until a dev implemented the raw input correctly. If you load up any other FPS game (Overwatch, CS:GO, Battlefield, etc.) you will immediately notice the difference. Your mouse-movement in Halo 5: Forge feels clunky and very off. This is also WITH Raw-Input ON and Mouse Acceleration and Smoothness off too. Here’s an example someone posted: - YouTube - FPS Cap: Currently Halo 5: Forge has an FPS Cap of 60 FPS. I understand that for the physics of the game 60 FPS made sense. However, that’s on Console. On PC it looks like trash. I noticed small frame drops during CQC situations. 343 needs to remove the 60 FPS Cap for Halo 5: Forge and increase the refresh rates. - Hit Sounds: Now this is a minor issue imo. But I have noticed there isn’t a sound that goes off when you’re being shot at. I used to play the original Halo PC Combat Evolved so I’m accustomed to hearing my shield being hit. - FOV Sliders: This is another MUST imo. Pretty much goes without saying to be honest. - Chatbox in the lobbyI sincerely hope some of the Devs can get all of these issues resolved soon because truthfully speaking, Halo 5 is an amazing game that has so much potential for a competitive scene.
Seems a lot of people including my self are having random crashes after a few games, would be great to have a way to submit crash logs for devs to review so they know what the issues is. FOV slider and mouse issues are the biggest thing right now as well.
A problem I have is that whenever I try to get into any game, when it gets to 4/4 Loading game, it then freezes and disconnects from the Lobby service. This happens all the time and I cant get in the game. Anyone else?
Mouse input lag is a huge issue for PC players. This is the first problem 343 should address as it will turn away a lot of the PC population. What good is H5 on PC when you can’t control your movements/aim? Please read this thread 343 and fix this!!!
Also maybe have a max party limit. Supposedly the servers have a max limit of 16 but there is no limit to the actual party. This is a minor thing b/c the input lag is really the most important. Please fix this asap!!

I have the same card with an i7 6700K and 32GB of Ram. I sometimes lose frames on certain maps.
I created a forum post about another issue too; there is still aim assist (magnetism) while scoping when using a mouse, anyone else noticed this issue? It’s most prevalent on the sniper rifle but other weapons might suffer from this too?

Yes I did notice that too.
Also, when gunning vehicles, it still uses controller settings not mouse and keyboard.

I assume they are quite busy. I fully expect them to work on this, that being said, it’s free. Sure there are a ton of problems, but give it a few weeks and see how it turns out.
Is there any way to change my language… everything on my pc is in English exept that game… I know it’s my primary language, but games will be always better in English… Help me pls.
