Halo 5: FORGE pc issue with video settings

hello ive just downloaded and launched the halo 5 forge game for windows 10 the game launched in 1080p as most games do on my monitor, which is an Acer predator z35 2560x1080 so when i got to the main menu i went straight into the video settings first to change my resolution but when i clicked through all the different resolutions i was only detecting 1920x1080 as the highest possible resolution. ive been into multiple twitch chats and asked about it and they are all pretty much clueless about pc’s and dont know what they’re talking about. ill leave a small list of my specs below just incase that helps

GPU: GTX 1080
CPU: Intel I7 4790K
RAM: 16GB DDR3

It’s likely that ultrawide resolutions aren’t supported. I don’t know for sure though.

Considering that the game is locked to a psuedo-1080p on the Xbone, I imagine that it might be the same way on PC. Don’t know for sure though. You’re swimming in Console Kid waters, boy. We don’t know -Yoink- about resolution.
