So I figured out how to customize (What little I can) by logging in here. But there is TONS of stuff I can use but it’s locked, how do I unlock it? Don’t tell me I have to buy an XBOX One, and Halo 5 go play on the console THEN unlock it on here? That can’t be? Can it…?

Do you have a friend with a Xbox that would let you log on and do it?
If worse comes to worse, you could always go to Target or Gamestop and sign in there and customize…if they let you.

That really blows. I guess for a full experience I would have to wait for Halo 6 since it’s coming to PC. What about daily login packs?

I think just logging into Waypoint gets you a login pack. Just go to your reqs and then to “unopened packs”.

Yup 
What you can do is sell all the items you get in a daily pack and take the RP. Might take a while but you will eventually save up enough to buy a bronze or silver pack.
There are some other ways of getting RP / packs as well, hopefully this is helpful to you:
If you watch the HCS streams, there are usually various code giveaways that have gold packs - this weekend there were more than 10 gold packs given away on stream.
When new updates are released there is usually a free pack given after logging in with some items in it, sometimes armour - essentially though more REQs you can sell for RP.
Some licensed toys come with small supply REQ packs, like figures and lootcrates.
Forum users often do giveaways amd now we have REQ gifting, so there’s a chance that someone might gift a pack to you - either for winning a giveaway, competition, or just randomly.
Lastly you can buy individual REQ packs and things like the Warzone and Arena bundles, but they are really only beneficial for those who play on console and are working through bronze packs to get lower level items out of the way.
Forge for PC was meant just as that though, a means for forgers to build maps in a PC environment, custom games with the browser is really just an amazing bonus that allows greater testing of new maos and modes before they move to console. Wasnt meant to be a full experience kind of thing.

So if I buy a silver pack and I do get a new armor or visor you’re telling me I can’t use it on PC? As in I won’t really unlock it?

If you have a valid Xbox Live account associated with Halo 5 PC Forge then yes the packs will unlock for you and be accessible via the waypoint customization

Yep, you can buy, redeem and open REQ packs here on Waypoint - https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/requisitions/categories/customization?ownedOnly=FalseWhether they are free packs, purchased with real money or REQ points. Anything that’s not cosmetic you can sell and save up the RP to redeem more packs. As the REQ system was built with Arena and Warzone in mind, it will take a long longer to find yourself some decent armour. You’ll want to aim for Bronze packs first, just as a normal player would to, to get all the common stuff out of the way.
There’s other ways you can get pack though to help out - free packs with certain merchandise purchases, usually a free pack given away with content updates, giveaways on the forums and twitter, we have the ability to gift REQ packs now and there has been an increase in Gold REQ pack drops from the HCS live streams. Hopefully that helps
