Halo 5: Forge on SP4

Does anyone know if the Surface Pro 4 will run Halo 5: Forge?

And if so, what are the requirements in processor and RAM needed to run it?

Hi

Hello

hello.

HALO is a XBOX exclusive so no its not gonna be on PS4

I’m aware of that. Since Xbox is from Microsoft, I’m asking if Halo 5: Forge (that was recently made available for Windows PC) is able to be run on a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet.

What will most likely hold it back is the integrated graphics for the Surface Pro. Also, the cheapest model doesn’t have enough Ram for the minimum specifications.

@RandomlyFish: I was actually looking at the i5 with 8GB RAM, which is the minimum RAM according to the requirements for Forge on PC. Would that one maybe work?

Integrated graphics doesn’t have any dedicated vram, and is instead using the system ram. So while it might have 8GB of ram, a portion of it will be used for vram. Getting the most expensive model might be more suitable, but at that point it would be much cheaper to get a decently powerful laptop and using an external graphics card.

@RandomlyFish I see. Thanks for your help! I’ll keep looking into it.

I don’t think the Pro 4 with i5 and 8GB RAM is capable of running halo, but perhaps the more expensive i7 model with 16 GB RAM is. Although I have my doubts with it but it would be interesting to know.

@White Lotuss X I’m not sure either, that’s why I wanted to find out before purchasing the wrong one.

Thanks everyone for your input.
