So I have been working on a pretty cool map for a variety of gamemodes using forge on Halo 5. Unfortunately, that map won’t load anymore.It just comes up as a blue screen with the cursor still visible but I am unable to move it. I tried everything like hard resetting my Xbox and unplugging my router but it still won’t load up for me. Has this happened to anyone besides me?? I would hate to lose what I been working on.
I have also encountered the same issue. For me it gets stuck on the “Retrieving data” loading screen and although I can enter the world I am unable to move or see any of my work. This is extremely dissapointing as I’ve put a gold amount of time into my map. Hopefully we’ll see a fix for this soon.
Same problem, I’m hoping it is the servers.

Nope I tried several times still getting the same results. I added a lot of effects and stuff to my map I wonder if that could be one of the reasons it won’t load?

No luck on my end either. I agree that the game is likely having a harder time loading all the assets than they anticipated.
I can at least get it to load now, no receiving data message, but it doesn’t have the controls on the side and won’t let me move. I’m just suck looking into space with my level way off to the side

Thats exactly what’s happening to me. No one seems to know why. This sucks I was almost done and now I’m scared to start a new one
Same here. I’m so close to finished. I think it is the servers, because Reqs and the req store aren’t loading or taking a while too.
So I just found out that I can play on my map in custom games but I am still unable to edit it. Wtf.

Idk what the -Yoinks!- going on then. 4 hours of my time wasted
I’m having the same issue ever since a barley surpassed the lighting budget (103) I cannot open the map in custom games.
Mine started doing this this morning. Map will load, but cant do anything. just look into space. 7 hours wasted and was pretty much finished but had removed a wall to add something big and now it’s broken. and cant replace the wall i removed. which makes the map useless for breakout. which is what it was made for. Is this a issue for all maps? i was on the space breakout arena one.
Got the same problem! Forge has stil a lot of bugs hope they fix it soon!
I’ve had the same problem, however I’ve found that if you load the map on forge, and have a friend in the game with you, they will be able to move around. I then leave forge (not ending it) and then rejoin the friend who is still on the map in forge and am able to move around. Bit of hassle but it’s the only solution I’ve found so far

I tried this as well, and it does work most of the time. Bit of a hassle indeed, but it’s better than deleting your map and doing it over again. Basically you load up the map, a friend joins while you’re in-game and the game should spawn him normally in the game. Your friend should place both Initial and Respawn points in the map. Then you can save the game and reload it to spawn normally.
Just make sure you put in initial and respawn points when you’re forging.
It looks like you don’t know what’s causing you not to be able to edit the maps. You get a friend and have him place down a normal respawn point and it will put you back in the game. If you don’t have a respawn point on your map it will be frozen like what you are talking about. I don’t know what can be done about maps not loading though.

I’ve placed respawn and initial respawn points and I just look into space and I can’t do anything… Hope they fix this next update or else… >:)
I had the same problem on two of the maps I made. I used the technique above using the friend way to get in. Once I got in I made a normal respawn point (not initial) in an open area and saved it with that. I haven’t had any problem (I only did this yesterday so I’ll have to check today to see if it still works) from then on. Even custom games were working which weren’t as well. I think the spawn points are very sensitive to their spawning area so you need to make sure that the area around them is fairly open for spawning. I know my original spawn points were in tight hallways so I think that was causing the problem. I hope this helps.
