So I just made a forge map and tested it out in custom games, I went back to go edit it and when the game loads, it appears that i’m inside a wall, and unable to do anything but pause the game and end it, I can’t turn into a human, I can’t even bring up the forge menus to place items. I’m just stuck looking at the glitched underside of the glacier map. Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s had this issue?
Since 343i apparently never tested Forge for problems, us, the players, have had to be punished by finding out - the hard way - that if you remove the spawns the Forge map becomes glitched.
I have this problem on one of my maps but I didn’t get it until I placed down an Initial spawn point and put it in a running start position, other people have had this problem and I’ve seen that one person claims to have solved it by having a friend waiting in the Arena Playlist Menu (Not searching for a game however) and then the friend joined him/her whilst he/she was in the Forge map creator (To clearify, not the menu) and were able to spawn in without getting stuck and place down Initial Spawn points and Respawn Points for him/her. I tried this method with a friend but it didn’t work out for me.

I’m going to give this a try later, i’ll let you know if it works for me. So far i’ve tried the usual stuff, such as; quitting halo 5, changing teams, and reloading multiple times to no avail. Just glad i’m not the only one with this issue, which means maybe it will get patched.

Wow, thanks for the definitive answer as to why this is happening. I’d rather something not work and I know why then something not work for no reason. I’ll post here if I find a fix.

It surely will be patched as many others have had the same problem, I had no luck in getting my map to work again so I’ve spent about two hours re-creating it from scratch, and made some improvements to it as well. 
Just always leave spawns (both kinds) in the forge map when you leave. I feel like that should be one of the first things you do, but apparently a lot of people are running into the bug.

Yea, I made a 1 life game type and had no need for respawn points, but i’ll put them down anyway from now on.
I know how to fix this it happened to me yesterday to fix it invite a friend after you start the map tell them to place a respawn point you will immediately apear and can work on your map again. For whatever reason forge starts you on a respawn point instead of initial spawn points
