With every halo, the first thing I build in forge is a race track, it lets me expeirent with how easy it is to duplicate turns and in this case play with lighting and fx and just get used to this new forge.
Well I was building said race track and had quite a lot of time into it, it was nearly finished so I decided to try it in custom games. It was going to be a quick test so I just put down a mongoose and a neutral initial spawn point at the start of the track and went to try it out. I was looking at lap times as well as how smooth it was, if shadows were weird, it it was easy to tell which way to go on certain overlapping turns ect. Long story short I figured out what needed changing and tried to go back to forge to fix a few things and add in final spawn points, work on the game type and maybe add in a secret room to mess with scripting too.
Well now my map is broken. I can still play the unfinished version in custom games but when I load it in forge, I’m in the editor screen, but the only buttons that work are the start and back buttons and my map is way off to the side.
343 needs to fix this game breaking glitch. It’s ridiculous that a part of the game delayed from the games launch would have such a massive bug that if you test your map in custom games or put a spawn point down that you can’t continue editing it. It’s -Yoinking!- rediculous. And it’s put me off forge for awhile. Why make maps when they’re just going to break anyway? -Yoinking!- stupid. Rant over.
That’s crazy i love forge and have not got to try the new version of it yet were I’ve been visiting family but hopefully they have it fixed soon.
yeah its happening to me too, I put in some spawn points, next day, BAM cant even load into the game…
I have been told from various people across the forums to go into forge with a friend and have them place down an inital and normal spawn locations for the team that you are on. I haven’t tried it yet but I will the next time I can get on.

You need to place at least 1 regular spawn point, and there is a way to fix this, go into the forge game and hqve a friend join you on a different team, they should be able to spawn in and place a spawn point for you.
