Just wanted to inform the community that Halo 5 Forge does not run on Phenom II CPUs. I know that many were expecting to run it due to the minimum requirement being a 6xxx series AMD.
AMD K10 CPU’s such as the Phenom II do not support the CPU instruction set standard known as SSE 4.1. Unfortunately AMD only supported this in the Bulldozer and newer architectures.

It looks like nor fx4300, fx6300, i3’s are not supported not having 4 physical cores.
edit: fx6300 and i3 works dont know about fx 4300 yet.
This is extraordinarily -Yoink-, and I really hope they release a patch to fix the issue, considering the massive amount of people still using older CPU’s like this.
This a huge issue on the forums here, but we haven’t heard back anything from 343 if they plan to do anything about it. I wish they would let us onto something at least instead of keeping us so much in the dark.
