Halo 5 forge dissapointment?

To me the new forge maps from 343 since they have took over halo have been disappointing. Players since before Halo 4’s launch have been asking for a remade forge world and many still are now. Me personally let me give you some reasons why I prefer the idea of a remade forge world over the new forge maps in Halo 5

  • Forge World in space is simply larger - Forge World is more colorful alive and lush with grass, trees, flowers, and water to me Alpine feels dull filled with dull grass and sand - Forge World had a plethora of physical environment to work with you had islands, ridges, cliffs, rivers, caves, flat spaces for forging, and coliseum that was to fill the void of halo 3’s foundry forge map. - Forge world has become a Halo classic to any Halo fan and deserves to be remade it has rightfully earned it’s status among great halo maps and like other great halo maps it deserves a remake. - Forge world is more reminiscent of the original Halo CE campaign. With bright green grass and trees filled with white rocks and beautiful clear water it is a great reminder of the Halo CE mission Halo and essentially the most memorable Halo campaign mission among the seriesI think that with a great new upgrade in graphics plus what appears to be the amazing improvements in forge capabilities thanks to Halo 5’s forge Forge World can be more relevant than ever and continue to do what it did during Halo Reach provide a great map for people to have a great time on. Thanks for reading hope to see you all on Halo 5. Here’s to hopefully a great new Halo game. P.S where are UNSC air vehicles in Halo 5 have not seen any Falcons or Hornets in forge or multiplayer if 343 drops this ball again like they did in Halo 4 machinima directors will be seriously limited to what they can produce which would be a shame.

Forge world made Reach a great game. 'Nuff said

It’s hard to say before getting some hands-on experience with the current maps. Based on the feedback given by those who were able to experience forge early, it sounds like the maps are plenty big enough to make just about any type of map that you want. I guess we will just have to wait and see in December…

what do you mean? Reach was actually a really great game better than Halo 4 and MCC by a mile

The creative skills in the Halo community always surprise me. No matter the maps provided or their size, we will get some really unique and fun to play maps for various game-types, no need to worry. Would more options be great, yes. Would larger sizes and variety be great, of course. But working with what they have currently been given they will surprise you - never had any skill for it myself.

I’m excited to see the new items and map customization regardless of how it may compare to forge world.

takes me back to playing fun custom games on halo 3 and think about the size of those maps and the forge tools we had back then created game types people still play today like warthog demolition derby and jenga. thanks for this comment helped me cool down and not worry so much LOL

Forge will be great in time.

I’m okay with the available options in Halo 5, but Forge would be very beneficial.

Haven’t tried it yet, but the weather options sound sick! Shotty-Swat in a thunderstorm? Hell yeah!
