Hi spartans, i’m having an issue with the halo 5: forge app for the PC, and halo waypoint support has offered zero help regarding this issue. After launching the game, it loads to a black title screen with “halo” written in the middle. This lasts for a few seconds before it crashes and opens the halo app. I’ve tried launching forge through the halo app and it does the same thing. Suggestions i’ve already tried: Re-installing the halo app. Re-installing the halo 5: forge app. Re-installing my drivers and making sure they are compatible and up to date. Restarting my computer.
I have the anniversary update installed, windows is up to date with the latest version, and i have already signed in to the halo app using my Xbox Live microsoft account. This is the same one i use for the windows store.
Any help would be greatly appreciated so i can get online and play with all of you.
im having the same issue, but only i get the first two videos before crashing out.
I get to see the microshaft studios vid then 343 industries, then back to desktop.
Running win10 AE Pro, 980ti with nvidia 372.70. i7 4930k + 16gb ram
holy shitballs batman. uninstall the halo app worked for me
loading the forge app without the halo app installed worked for me.
hopefully this helps someone else.

Anyone from 343 going to chime in on this? forum has been up for over 11 hours.
I am having the same issue. A lot if the reviews on the stand alone page for Forge and not the bundle say they are having this issue too. So far no solution. I am talking to a Microsoft Studios dev about it via email. No response back though.

still nothing. several people have been reporting the same issue but nobody knows a fix and 343 has yet to comment. come on 343, we want to play your great game! tell us how.

im back to having this problem and i’ve not changed anything! it was working once i removed the halo app and now its back to not working without it.
i now have a new fix for me, turning off my second screen (primary monitor only) seems to get it working again.
this app seems to be up and down more than a whores drawers
hope this works for others.
