Ok, so I downloaded Halo 5 Forge so I can finally play Halo again on PC, but when I open it, I get the Halo Logo then after about 5-10 seconds it just closes out, no error code or anything just closes. I’ve already uninstalled and redownloaded TWICE. Can someone help me fix this problem. I noticed that all of the files are Encrypted also, could have anything to do with it?
I crash at the loading sequence for forge/custom games until i changed the resolution…now its really broken because i cant even get to the menu

I’m having the exact same issue. The guy above me is having a different issue so he is probably in the wrong thread. My game has the same Halo logo for about that time and then crashes to nothing. If I have the Halo companion app installed it will launch that. In other things I have tried to fix this, I have attempted running in different compatibility modes but obviously it still doesn’t work, as the game is limited to Win10. I have also tried repairing my DX12, updating my Windows version to Insider to see if any future changes could affect the game, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and companion app many times, and finally I have searched through other running processes to find any conflicts. Again, to no avail. The only thing I can come up with is to try running the game at a different resolution, but I don’t know how to do this. If you can figure out how to do this and if it works, please let me know. Good luck, and here’s to Microsoft fixing this horrible bug.

Been having the same issue as these people since Halo 5: Forge came out and nothing I’ve tried works.
