Halo 5 Forge Active Camo Help

Is there a way to change some of the Active Camo settings. I want remove the feature that makes you not show up on radar or at least decrease the camo time. I’m trying to make classic Halo maps and I’d rather not aft to throw camo out of the mix. It’s too broken the way it is now.

Unfortunately, no. The only way to decrease the time is to use the lowest-tiered camo pickup. As for removing not-shown-up-on-radar, that is also a no.

Well that’s stupid. The only way you shouldn’t show up on radar is if you crouch or stand still. I guess i’ll just remove them :frowning:

Whats so bad about being invisible from the radar while invisible? I think that’s the point of being invisible, stealth.

It’s not skill based. It pretty much gives you free kills. Instead of me posting an entire rant on it I suggest you play older halo games and you’ll understand what i’m getting at.

Edit* I recommend Halo 2 or 3. Camo in Reach just made multiple dots on the radar and it was an armor ability so I wouldn’t recommend playing that one.

dawg, I just played Halo 1, 2, and 3 in the last hour. and used plenty active camo, but I still find halo 5’s to be better, and trust me, I been playing Halo since 04.

So you recognize that strategizing and working your way around the map or crouching to the enemy takes more skill than just sprinting up to them with camo when they can’t see you on radar. Also you may find it more fun because it’s made to be easier to use (a.k.a CoD) but it doesn’t make it more skill based, It does the opposite. I’m trying to make classic Halo maps with classic settings and if I were to use the active camo the way it is now then it would only reduce the skill lvl of the map and that’s not what I’m looking for.

P.S. You should also be aware that your stats and game history are available for others to see.

You can’t literally sprint up to them. Sprinting will make it fade away like in Reach and 4. Anyway, a truly skilled player can see the haze, and to some degree, you can barely see it in the radar.
