Hey what’s up everyone. Just kinda wanna know what the rest of the community thinks of some of my ideas that I think should be in the next Halo game. First off, I think that Firefight does need to return in Halo 5 but I think that it needs to be more challenging much like how it was on Halo 3: ODST. Halo: Reach’s firefight was okay but it did not have the same challenging feel that ODST’s firefight mode did have. I think that in Halo 5 they need to do a couple things. First off, I think that they should get rid of unlimited ammo/ammo crates, just because running out of ammo can cause a challenge. I do believe you should start every round with a limited amount of ammo just like on ODST. Second, I believe that in Halo 5 there should be more random enemies, like of course include the covenant, include the Prometheans, but what about the Flood? I think that the flood would be very interesting to include in the game mode. Keep the waves very random and also include boss waves with maybe including a new Promethean boss that require more teamwork and effort to beat. Those are some of the base ideas that I think should be included in the next Halo.
Now I also have some other ideas that I think would make great additions to the game mode as well. I will leave them listed below.
- Forgeable Firefight maps (make your own bases, spawn points, etc.)
- Be able to play as a ODST instead of a Spartan (ODST firefight mode?)
- Add in challenges that once completed will allow you to call in certain ordnance drops (ex. get 250 headshots, call in a sniper rifle)
- Be able to call in Spartan/ODST/Marine assistance.
- Air vehicles? (Hornet/Falcon?)
- Unlimited rounds, go as high as you can
- More (NEW) skulls to change up gameplay
- Flood enemies
- Boss Rounds after every set instead of Bonus rounds
