So this month they coming out with forge, and I was thinking. If they are making such a big update this month, why not bring back firefight in a later update!
Firefight was probably one of my favourite modes in Halo: Reach and I’d love to see them do firefight on Halo 5, they could even make sectioned off areas on warzone maps as the maps for firefight, or even better make some in forge. Please put what you’d like to see in future updates and if you also hope they implement firefight later on as well in the thread below. I mean who knows, maybe 343 really does read the forums on here.
I don’t think we will ever see firefight in Halo 5, maybe in Halo 6, but not 5.
also crossing fingers for firefight, or even a warzone mode with significantly more enemy drops (4x?) and a higher winning score.
I personally could care less if they added it, horde modes were always kind of boring to me, but hey if they add it, great for those that enjoy it
I can’t see them doing that any time soon, but it would be a great addition fall 2016 1 year after the game launched! It would give us tons of new content!

I’m the total opposite haha. Horde modes are just about my favorite. I loved firefight so much. If no in an update in H5 I REALLY hope they bring it back in H6.
This must add this. Or at the very least Spartan Ops.

They have Warzone, if they made a variant that was PvE then that could be our new Firefight.
Bonnie said at the video game awards that they have something major planned for a future update but they can’t talk about it now… Firefight? Completely new mode?
Since playing online isn’t how it use to be, I’d be open for some co op modes like spartan ops and firefight.
I would like to see 343 add firefight in the future but as of my experiences so far with halo 5, it feels like it will mostly be Player vs Player oriented updates and tweaks. Sadly I think we may still have to wait and be patient for another firefight or spartan ops Player vs Enemy game type in future halo games.

Whoa whoa, what? A big new thing in a future Halo 5 update? Are you sure?
Fire Fight would be great! Modes like head hunter would be nice too.

True, but I mean like pure co-op goodness that only firefight could provide. No player enemies, just you, your teammates, and countless waves of AI.

She did say there was something they were doing for an update, but she wasn’t allowed to say specifically what.
Hey I’m all for some Firefight! Maybe it could even use the REQ system.
I can’t tell you how much I would love a PVE mode.
It would be great if they made them like war zone maps.
I’m doubtful content will be free after a year. Maybe we’ll get a massive year 2 update for free as our final free update? A bunch of new modes and maps. Though even then people will still get mad at 343i for not listening.
It would be unwise to not add firefight in halo 5
