Halo 5 - Firefight 3.0

My mate has told me firefight 3.0 has been confirmed for Halo 5 is this true ?

Considering we know next to nothing about Halo 5 I’m going with speculation.

Apparently they started making it before halo 4 was even released

They announced Halo 4, 5, and 6 together, but he’s totally false, there has been nothing other than perhaps rumors indicating that it’d be coming with Halo 5.

That doesn’t mean we know anything about it. As you are the one making the suggestion, I believe the burden of proof is on you to provide a source.

I was hoping for firefight 3.0 in Halo 4 to be honest.

I don’t like the Spartan ops gameplay.

Rather just have a whole series of CG cutscenes to watch, and play firefight 1.0 instead.

Nothing has been sourced/presented about Halo 5 playable options and gametypes.

I enjoyed most of the Firefights but Reach’s FF was all for comendation progress and easy credit earnings. I preferred ODST’s because of the difficulty and teamwork that was needed to complete each Wave. If you manged to reach over 8 Million on ODST FF on legendary Bungie would have given you this for a avatar item on Bnet.

If Halo 5 has firefight it should have 1.0 and 2.0. One for ODST lovers and one for Reach Lovers.

If they do bring back Firefight I want to be able to Forge it at least.

COnsidering this is a Halo site it would probably not only be announced, it would be all over the forums if this was confirmed.
Why they cut out firefight in H4 I have no clue. Spartan Ops is just multiplayer, and not everyone has Live or wants to play with other people.

You don’t have to, you can play it solo as well which i prefer because the lag is horrendous if your not host and if you search alone. Yellow/Red bar 24/7
