Hey everyone
Just wanted to share an observation or two; as I feel like Halo 5 is in a better place than it has been before. Since Monitor’s Bounty, the game has a feel to it hasn’t really had before. This is mainly thanks to the new social playlists and the customs browser. As a solo player I can say this has made a world of difference, as I would never really have cause or opportunity to engage in custom games before now. Now that I can hop into the really fun playlists in social arena, and join a custom game whenever I please, I’m starting to get more of a feel of the old fun Halo again. I couldn’t put a statistic on this, bus even though there are now more playlists to choose from plus a plethora of custom games at any given time, I swear matching times for me have been significantly reduced.
And then there was the NA pro league finals… I just can’t even get my head around how captivating that tournament was, with a massive uspset from EnvyUs and at one point it was even the fourth most viewed game on Twitch with 40,000 concurrent viewers!
I don’t know if its one of these or a combination of both, but these last few days, it has felt to me like Halo 5 has had a massive injection of life from both 343i and the community, and honestly, that’s just fantastic.
I understand and acknowledge there are still problems to be addressed, but I cant help but get a positive feeling from all this, helped by 343i really starting to show that they are listening and they do care (hold tight, Warzone fans).
I look forward to the updates and pro league/world championships next year, and even now with all the games out there, I can’t think of anything I’d rather spend my time playing.
Please keep up the positive vibes 343i, I think Halo might just be getting back on track.

As a solo gamer for Halo 5, the customs browser is amazing. So many options for me to explore, adding tons of new depth to the game, that I would not have gotten otherwise. I loved playing customs in Halo 2 and 3, so I’m deeply, deeply glad I can do the same in 5 again.

Been playing Halo 5 from day 1, and I have had more fun in the past few days then ever before.
Customs browser (in my opinion) is one of the greatest things to happen to Halo.

Same here man, my first experience of Halo was mucking about on Sandtrap on Halo 3 with my mates, trying all sorts of mini games and fun settings like reduced gravity. I remember playing Mongoose Grav Hammer Baseball for an entire weekend once this update is so reminiscent of that it just fills me with nostalgia. Unfortunately my friends have by and large moved on from gaming, so having this browser could not be more welcome! And forge! Oh god its so powerful now!
Due the finals were absolutely amazing, the comeback and clutch Game plays.Heck it had 4k+ in Fb and 40k+ in twitch, it was even the most viewed channel on twitch, and it’s crazy to think about. Halo is truly making a return and monitor’s bounty had a lot to do with it, it just brings joy to me too see life coming back

This is what I’m thinking mate. That last double best of seven was almost more than my nerves could handle. Huke going insanely clutch at the end of the final game with Frostys fuel rod was just one of the most amazing things I’ve ever watched! It’s brings me joy too man and gives me lots of hope for the future of Halo. People keep asking “is Halo dead”, but I don’t think we’re going to have a repeat of Halo 4 with this game. I can definitely see enough people remaining engaged until the next main game releases
