Halo 5 feels like a upgrade from Halo Infinite

Plus you cant pick the sub colors to that 1 color they do it for you. what if i wanted red and gun metal not gun metal and red. its BS!

That would make for a great Firefight intro… Your team.air inserting from the heavens…

Hell Imagine Ghost recon Breakpoint but replace everything with Halo Infinite.

And you can use your Mtiplayer Spartan.

I completely agree with CombatSaint about Halo 5 having better looking cosmetics (esp. Centurion, Vigilant, Recruit, Achilles, Hermes, etc.), better overall game quality (from the faster but more satisfying gameplay to especially the co-op campaign), better matchmaking, and more consistent hit registration. My only real issue is that Halo 5 eats up 97+ GB on my Xbox Series S which is already out of space partly thanks to MCC.

Every day I become more and more grateful that Halo 5 was my first Halo game, and had it not been for Halo 5, I would never even have known who Fred-104, Spartan Buck, or Exuberant Witness were.

Not a thing. I think they are quite good, just like Halo 5!

Probably feels like an upgrade playing halo 5 if you’re on an Xbox one because you’re playing at 60fps whereas infinite only allows 30fps and that makes a big difference when it comes to enjoying the game.

warzone firefight was NOT there at launch man

Infinite should not have launched unfinished, the gaming community is sick of this!! Make the game good to go before you launch, don’t launch then finish the game over the next ten years! It is embarrassing

The campaign is and feels only like a quarter game… just sad

Obviously this is true. But like I’ve said in many other posts, the “release a half finished game and call it a live service with a fully functional store” business model has proven MUCH more profitable than releasing fully finished games. And obviously not ENOUGH ppl are sick of it because every game I see there’s 75% of the people in there who’ve made in store purchases. We’ll keep getting broken unfinished games as long as players keep shelling out money in the store.

Agreed, it’s just sad, we want and deserve polished products, and get turds, but shrug and say oh well…

Everyone who complains about it stopped playing it really early. They didn’t experience the game after the balance updates and increased content volume, so they never experienced it in its masterpiece state that it’s MP suite got to.

It’s always super easy to tell how much H5 someone actually played based off of their complaints.

On topic of the thread I think Infinite is going to follow the same content trajectory as H5. Bare bones launch. Excellent offerings 1 year in. Masterpiece MP suite 3 years in.

Yes, I am Aware just noting it has it, also a Roadmap… It it did have Co Op.

Honestly I suspect the delay of season 2 and lack of Roadmaps indicates 343 really didn’t have an actual post launch Content plan… Like they may be making up as they go,

I just wish they would be more Transparent with it.

Right. Ow all we are getting is we’re are hearing you guys, and we are working on it…

But I mean we are almost a whole week into the new year and still, silence.

Honestly I have lowered my expectations to below Anthem level

When they announced it was a live service I already knew. I was like Ok sounds like we are getting another Anthem.

Or maybe a bit better another Outriders

I also don’t believe they had a road map 28 days after the launch of halo 5. That came much later as well.
I agree there needs to be more communication but I also think people need to relax for a while and if they’re that upset at the state of the game just stop playing and come back for season 2. Yano?

I just start the game up to get my daily Gamepass thing.

I already completed the challenges and BP, and other stuff. Sooooo

I just check in get my thing and bounce.

I actually start suing Breakpoint again… Just enjoying the open world and amazing array of character customization option…

It would be cool if I had a Halo Spartan skin in Ghost recon Breakpoint. Lol

New game comes out, old one is suddenly better.

Y’all predictable.

This thread proves just how shameless and pathetic a lot of so called Halo “fans” are.

If you guys cared so damn deeply about Halo 5 you should’ve actually stood behind it when it came out, not waited 6 years later for the new one to turn the other cheek.

Appreciate what you have, not what you have lost. I give Life Lessons out for free nowadays lol.

@LeonSandwich I’m still waiting for Gears 6 to come out, then everybody standing on a soapbox preaching how amazing Gears 5 was, it just embarrasses the community more than anything.

I liked Gears 5. Was something about it bad?

As a Halo fan from Day One, my favorite observation about the Halo community is the claim that “old” Halo games are always much better than new Halo games, and that the newest Halo is always trash. Rinse and repeat for every Halo release since Halo 2. It’s hilarious.

Me too

It was trashed vehemently for all kinds of reasons. Open world campaign (being too long is another example of this) and the characters, the MP was trashed because of all the inconsistencies and lack of content (Gears 5 launched with 7 maps), and its Horde got lots of heat because of all the balance patches they put out for the game over time.

Now I absolutely loved Gears 5, still do, only reason I stopped was because I got burned out on it (I easily put hundreds of hours into that game, no cap) but my overall point is that I’m just waiting for the day when everyone does a 180 and says that Gears 5 is the golden standard for Gears games. I’ll be like bruh, you had a great game right in front of you this whole time and it took you years to realize it smh. Its also cringe because a lot of people would tell you how much better Gears of War 4 was, even though they are extremely similar games (besides Escape maybe) so the cycle will just continue forever apparently.

Going back to Halo, if you guys cared so deeply about Halo 5… Why did you wait this long to praise it? Just a classic example of being unappreciative about things then waiting too long to show it.

I have my issues with Infinite, but I’m not going to wait 11 years (assuming it actually survives for 10 years) to show how much I like it. Its basically a great mix of Halo 5 and Halo 3 gameplay wise, and its SP has lots of CE vibes… It can become the Halo GOAT lol. All this reluctancy is not going to do fans any favors. If you genuinely that Halo 5 is so great what’s stopping you from playing it? Likewise for MCC? Just seems like a turnabout way of saying you don’t like X because its not like Y while Y has puppy dog eyes and wants to be petted lol.

It’s fun to watch. A sequel comes out, and the previous game suddenly becomes S-tier, despite the constant complaints it got.

The cycle repeats!
