Halo 5, Elite Controller and Xbox Accessories?

Hey all this thread is about Halo 5: Guardians and the implementation of an Elite Controller and Xbox Accessories to better boast a player’s specific skills, depending on how they like to play.

I have a dilemma with some adjustments I would like to make through Xbox Accessories using my Elite Controller, which doesn’t really guide you or allow much understanding of what each setting does or even means? Things like:

  • Thumbstick Curves Settings

  • Default, Delayed, Aggressive, Instant and Smooth - Radial Calculation - -3 to 3 settings and how it alters the curvature? - What is the best for Halo 5? How do I avoid slow turn? - Trigger Press Settings

  • What registers as a full trigger press and non-press (ie 0 - 70) - What is the best for Halo 5? How do I charge weapons, with hair triggers on? - Button Mapping

  • What is the best for Halo 5, depending on the control scheme? So I was wondering if anyone who has alot more knowledge on these aspects would assist me and others with this issue?

I use(d) to play bunper jumper with 2 paddles with x and a mapped with autostabilize off.

When i first got my elite i was playing on a really complicated personalized button map but it just made it harder.

I had thumbsticks set to delayed and tried others. But after a long time I realized I had to revert back to default linear input settings. It just messes with other games aiming when you go back default. I am on 3 sens I think and 1,5 acceleration I think. Slow turn or harder to aim - you have to strike a balance between the two.
