Hey I was wondering if I would be able to get early access to Halo 5 because I purchased Halo 5 Guardians Limited Collectors Edition. I don’t think that it is fair that other players get to play Halo 5 early because that puts us at a disadvantage the ones who spent $250 and don’t get to get early access to the game for spending that much. Please help me and allow me to get early access. Thanks
I bought the 1TB Halo 5 Xbox One when I already have 2 other perfectly good Xbox Ones. I deserve early access to Halo 5, 6, 7 and 12. I’ll accept that Halo 8 - 11 will not be part of my compensation. Just saying.
Besides… I didn’t get a swanky bookend statue dealio.

This is no “early access”. RedSkull15644 you got only the permission to pre download the game. You can play it right at the release day!
Look some Videos on YouTube from 343 or Microsoft. In every video they say this is only the download code for pre download 
That’s not how things work. The current Early Access is for reviewers and influencers, the usual business.
You paid for the product implying agreement with the arrangement. They never said early access would be granted to LCE users. Sorry, man.
How are so many people getting this wrong and where are they getting their information from?
Its more like people aren’t fully reading the info. People think I got the game early I should be able to play it, when we all know that isn’t the case.
Thats not how buying LCE works. Plus those people who are playing early are playing review copies of the game. Just wait Tuesday is right around the corner.
The funny part about this is that when I bought the LCE is that I would have early access to download it and play it, that is the ONLY reason I bought it… Now when I downloaded it I cant play it, and now I can’t get a refund because GameStop employees lie and Microsoft is doing nothing to help… thanks…
Ill actually probably end up selling the statue and everything else with it now.
You don’t get early access just for buying the LCE. Only people who review and publicize the game in a controlled manner were given access.
Consider this a way to continue testing the game just before launch to ensure the perfect day one launch. Gives them an extra few days head start to gather data and get ready for patches

“Download early so you’re ready to play on the 27th” and all that? You’ve got nobody to blame but yourself for overlooking that widely known fact there.

Oh I read it. You said that you bought it because you thought it’d allow you to play it a full week earlier.

Lie about what? You never once said in your post anything that suggested that THEY told you that buying the LCE would let you do that, when every official source says otherwise.
If anything, I think it’s funny that you believed this when the developers own sources say that buying the LCE only lets you pre-download it early, not access and play it early.

Gamestop told me that if I bought a new console, 12 games, 3 extra controllers, 5 charge cords and a one-year PowerUps membership and traded it all back in a month later that they’d buy me a puppy. I never got my puppy. I did get a bunch of GameInformer magazines.

You never were given early access. If you read up, the game is officially released on the 27th. People who bought the console and the LCE is given the code early so they can download the game early instead of waiting until release to play it.
That is your fault you chose not to read, not gamestop or microsoft.

i brought the Halo 5 Guardians Limited Collectors Edition + 1:1 official limited Needler (1 of 3000 in the world), it cost over twice what you’ve paid, by your logic shouldn’t i get to play it ages ahead of you, no, because the game is releasing on Tuesday, you knew that when you ordered, it comes out on Tuesday, its not unfair its what you paid for.
