Halo 5 download using code

My Daughter just got the Halo 5 Xbox One limited edition bundle for Christmas this year and we are having trouble figuring out how to download the game using the download code that came with it. We entered the code and it accepted it but haven’t seen anything start downloading yet. Can any one advise what we should do next.

Check in your “My Games and Apps” section on your Xbox while logged into the profile you used the code on and it should show all the games associated with that account. Then just download.

Yea That’s the thing, there isn’t anything there. I’ve downloaded a free game and it downloaded no problem. I have no idea what’s going. I thought once I entered the code it would start downloading but it didn’t. I’ve tried re-entering the code and now it says the code has already been used. Anymore suggestions?

If it doesn’t work on the xbox then try entering the code in the redeem section on xbox.com. If this doesn’t help, try contacting Microsoft
