A few hours ago i decided to purchase Halo 5 in the xbox store, but i wont install past 7% and im not sure if its an issue on my end or if anyone else is experiencing similar issues or knows how i can fix this?

Is the downloading stopping at 7% and ends the download or at stuck on 7% for a while?

When it gets to 7% it says installation stopped, should i un install and try again?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling

for about half an hour maybe more

If it happens again, try and restart the xbox and reinstall it again.

Is your console on energy saver or instant on?

its on instant on at the moment, should i change it?

Nah just leave it, was just wondering what power settings you had. And do you turn off your console while its downloading or is it on during the download?

ive been leaving it on while its been downloading

Also, do you have the New Xbox Dashboard Beta installed? If so, it’s causing numerous problems has been seeing frequent patches. If you are, check your console settings and make sure you have the latest patch installed.

It says there are no updates avaliable for my dashboard, if it doesnt work this time should i try and get a refund?

No. At worst, you may need to do a factory reset.

yeah it has been for the past 10 or so minutes, its up to 3% now

I’ve got the exact issue and thought it was just me

xbox support hasn’t been able to help me

ive hard reset and redownloaded multiple times but it ALWAYS gets stuck at 7%

if you have a mate who has already downloaded the game, you could get him to chuck halo 5 on a external HDD and just bring it to you put it on your console :slight_smile:
